Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022: Department of Telecommunication (DOT),  Ministry of Communications invites applications to fill up the vacant posts in the Sub Divisional Engineer (SDE) cadre on a deputation basis from among the staff working in Central / State Government/ Union Territories / PSUs / Universities / Recognized Research institutions or Statutory and Autonomous bodies in two locations; Patna (02) and Ranchi (01).

The period of deputation shall be for 3 (three) years initially, extendable further up to 5 years or till superannuation whichever is earlier. The age of applicants for the post of sub-Divisional Engineer shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.  There is only 03 vacancy available. The last date for submission is 31 .08.2022.

Pay Scale for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

Level B (Rs 47,600-151100) in the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

• Retired from CDA Scale with a substantive grade of Level 8 (for AD)/Level 7 (For JTO) of the 7th CPC or equivalent IDA Scale or holding an analogous post, Retired Assistant Director or equivalent rank officer from DOT or any other central/state Govt. department or Retired Sr. SDE/DET/DGM or equivalent rank officer from BSNL MTNI/ITI/TCIL/ or any other PSU. The candidate should have a flair for noting/drafting.
• Preference will be given to applicants from DOT/BSNL/MTNL backgrounds. However, a retired person from BSNL/ MTNL under VRS-2019 is not eligible to apply.

Age Limit for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

The age of applicants for the post of sub-Divisional Engineer shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.

Selection Procedure for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

Eligible and willing candidates may apply through the proper channel in the prescribed format at Annexure-B. Cadre authorities/Head of the Departments are required to forward applications of eligible and willing candidates whose services can be spared on deputation immediately on their selection.

The applications of suitable and eligible officers are complete in all respect, in the prescribed format, along with the document listed above may be sent to the O/o Sr DDG, Bihar LSA.

Documents Required for Ministry of Communications Recruitment 2022:

The applications of only such officers would be considered that are routed through proper channels and are accompanied by the following documents:

(i) Application in prescribed proforma.

(ii) Cadre Clearance Certificate from the Controlling Authority.

(iii) Statement giving details of Major/Minor penalties, imposed upon the officer if any during the last ten (10) years

(iv) Vigilance Clearance/Integrity Certificate.

(v) Photocopies of the ACRs/APARS for the last five (5) years duly attested on each page by an officer, not below the level of Under Secretary or equivalent.

(vi) Declaration in prescribed proforma.

The last date for submission of the application is 31 .08.2022.
