Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: The Head Quarter, Northern Command, Ministry of Defence, Government of India has invited Applications from Ex-Service-Men Personnel with Eligibility for 01 Messenger Group ‘C’ Post for posting in the Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. The Ministry of Defence Official Employment Notice has been issued for 02 Vacancies to be filled up against Messenger through Direct Recruitment 2023. Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Group ‘C’ Messenger Post will be filled up in Pay Level 01 (Rs. 5200-20000) in the Northern Command Head Quarter (NCHQ), Ministry of Defence. The Candidates interested in applying for Messenger Post should note that the Last Date for Such Candidates to apply and complete the Application Process is the 21st Date from publication of the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement in the Employment Newspaper.
According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Ex-Service-Men are Eligible to apply for the Group ‘C’ Messenger Post to be filled up in the Northern Head Quarter, Ministry of Defence. Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Candidates, after Selection for Messenger Group ‘C’ Post shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary under Pay Matrix Level explained hereunder:

Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Employment Notice, the Maximum Age Limit as on the Closing Date for Receipt of the Duly Completed Applications from Eligible ESM Candidates should be read as follows.
Age Limits:
I) Un-Reserved Category: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years
II) Reserved Community: Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for Reserved Community Candidates.
According to the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility including the Educational Qualification is as follows:
Educational Qualification: Matriculation/10th Class Pass Or Equivalent from any duly recognized Board of Education/Institute.
Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Final Selection for Group ‘C’ Messenger Post shall be completed on the basis of the Overall Merit notified in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. The Selection Procedure for Group ‘C’ Messenger Post shall require an OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Test and Document Verification, Medical Examination, Character Antecedent Verification, etc. Selection for Group ‘C’ Messenger Post shall be conducted in the order of the Merit to be determined by taking into account the Marks obtained in the Written Examination.
The OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Test with 02 Hours Examination Duration shall have 04 Parts/Sections with 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for 150 Marks. Each Correct Answer will carry 01 Mark. There will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 (¼) for each Wrong Answer/ Multiple Answers given for every Single MCQ Question. The Candidates provisionally shortlisted subject to the Minimum Pass Marks/Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Written Examination will be subjected to Medical Fitness Test and Multiple Verification. Only Candidates Shortlisted in the Written Examination shall be invited/intimated for Document Verification.
Based on the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Intending Eligible Candidates with Interest in the Group ‘C’ Messenger Post should apply as per the Specimen Application Proforma. Duly completed Applications should be annexed with all other Enclosures including Self-attested Documents mentioned in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
