Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Defence is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Technical Officer on a deputation basis. As per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 02 vacancies. Selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 04 years.
As per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary on pay scale level 11. Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 56 years. As per the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 02 vacancies for the post of Technical Officer.
Candidates should be Officers under the Central Government or States Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:-
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(b) (ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs.56100-177500) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:-
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical and Communication or Marine or Naval Architecture or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or institute.
(ii) Five years of working experience in a relevant field of engineering, including at least one year of experience in a Dockyard or Shipyard in Production, Planning, Control and Refit of Ships or Vessels.
Deputation or re-employment (for Ex-servicemen)
The Armed Forces Personnel of the rank of Lieutenant Commander (IN) or equivalent due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite qualifications and experience prescribed for deputation (including short-term contract) shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
