For Scientist C- The maximum age limit is 40 years.
For Scientist D/E/F/G- The maximum age limit is 50 years.

Scientist C- The selected candidate will be given a monthly of Rs. 218200.
Scientist D- The selected candidate will be given a monthly of Rs. 216600.
Scientist E- The selected candidate will be given a monthly of Rs. 215900.
Scientist F- The selected candidate will be given a monthly of Rs. 209200.
Scientist G- The selected candidate will be given a monthly of Rs. 208700.
Candidates applying for Ministry of Earth Sciences Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-
Qualification based on discipline is given below-
For Earth System Science- Masters’ Degree in Physics / Mathematics/Geophysics / Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanography / Seismology/Geology/Geosciences or equivalent, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Ocean Engineering, Earth Science, or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (first class) in the qualifying degree level.
Marine Biology– Masters’ in Zoology/Marine Biology/Marine Sciences/Microbiology or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (first class) in the qualifying degree level.
Coastal Research- Masters’ Degree in Oceanography/Marine Sciences/Marine Biology/Zoology or Bachelors’ Degree in Civil/ Ocean Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University with at least 60% marks (first class) in the qualifying degree level.
Computer/Information Technology- Master’s Degree in Science or Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology in Computer Science / Computer Applications/ Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level.
