As per the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended up to 03 years depending on the need and subject to the performance and presence of the professional in the Division. There is only 01 vacancy.

Candidates applying for this job post should have a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Life Science equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute or B.E (Environmental Engineering).
Candidates applying for this job post should have Working experience of 5 years post qualification in environment, and ecology and at least three years of experience in GIS.
As per the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 01 year which can be extended up to 03 years depending on the need and subject to the performance and presence of the professional in the Division. The engagement period will be assessed at half-yearly and specified for continuation if required and the performance is found satisfactory. The employment of a consultant is only temporary, and the ministry has the right to terminate it at any time for any reason. With the Secretary’s blessing (EF&CC), the Ministry shall have the right to terminate at any moment and without giving any notice. The contract will be automatically terminated if you are absent from work for eight days straight without providing any justification.

A consultant is entitled to 8 (eight) days of leave in a single year of consulting. From the date of their joining, the leave will be awarded to them pro rata throughout the course of each completed month. In the event that the consultant is absent for more than 8 (eight) days in a year, no compensation will be paid. Unused leave during a tenure of one year cannot be carried over to the following tenure of one year. The intervening Saturday, Sunday, or Gazetted Holidays in the middle of a leave period are not included in the 8 (eight) leaves total.
