Job Description for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2022

Implementation of the Government of India’s projects in foreign countries including but not limited to:

1. General supervision and oversight of projects
2. Formulating project proposals for administrative and functional approval of the competent authority
3. Supporting and coordinating with respect to the full project cycle from agency identification and selection, tendering, award of work, and contract management. project monitoring, post-implementation impact assessment, etc.
4. Contributing in drafting agreements/MoUs/tender documents and processing thereof for vetting and requisite approvals Qf competent authorities
5. Co-ordination with implementation agencies, project management consultants (PMCs), Missions and Posts abroad, and other Ministries/Departments in the Government of India for timely and effective project implementation

Eligibility for Ministry of External Affairs Recruitment 2022

Officers from Indian Railway Services hold analogous posts in Level 12 or Level 13 of the Pay Matrix on regular basis.

Desirable

1. At least three years of experience in areas related to project execution. tendering and concerning works, or handling overseas projects.
2. Familiarity with General Financial Rules and Government procurement rules and guidelines.
3. Familiarity with Information Technology applications and tools.
4. Experience in handling infrastructure and capacity building projects overseas and with an engineering degree.

Pay & Allowance for Ministry of External Affairs 2022

Admissible as per guidelines of the Department of Personnel and Training’s O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from time to time.
