Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Finance, Government of India, is receiving applications from Indian nationals for Presiding Officer in the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), Mumbai. According to the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 official notification, applicants must attain the age of fifty years (55) years on or before the closing dates of application submission. Applicants are or have been, a Judge of the Supreme Court or a Chief Justice of a High Court will be appointed on first priority. The hiring will be made for the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) established under the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. The Presiding Officer would be given a monthly remuneration of Rs. two lakh fifty thousand (fixed). If the person chosen as Presiding Officer receives a pension, his or her compensation will be reduced by the whole amount of the pension received.
According to the Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023 official notification, the Tribunal’s Rules, 2021, will be utilized to regulate the qualifications, eligibility, remuneration, and other terms and circumstances of a candidate’s appointment to the post of Presiding Officer.
