Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Office of Executive Engineer, Border Road Division (BRD), Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India New Delhi has sought Applications from the Retired Government Servant/Qualified Professionals for Engagement as Consultants; i.e., Chief Consultant, Senior Consultants, and Consultant in different Departments, on Contractual Basis for Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) under the Department of Border Management, New Delhi through the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. There are 07 Vacancies to be filled up with Engagement of the Chief Consultant, Senior Consultants and Consultant narrated in the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Willing and Eligible Qualified Ex-Government Personnel may apply in the Prescribed Specimen Proforma and complete the Application Submission Process latest by 15.05.2023. Hence, the Applicants should apply accordingly within the Timeline set for the same.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, there are 07 Vacancies to be filled up with Appropriate Positions.
Total Vacancies: 07 Nos.
01) Chief Consultant: 01 Vacancy
02) Senior Consultant (Works) Equivalent to Executive Engineer (EE) Level: 01 Vacancy
03) Senior Consultant (Finance and IT) Equivalent to Executive Engineer Level: 01 Vacancy
04) Consultant (Works): 03 Vacancies
05) Senior Consultant (Accounts): 01 Vacancy
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, the Candidates selected as Professional Consultants for the Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) shall be Eligible for the Monthly Salary and Allowances of PMU Staff.
1. The Monthly Remuneration shall be governed as per Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Office Memorandum No.3-25/2020/E-l 11A Dated 09.12.2020 for Retired Government Servants engaged as Consultants.
2. Monthly remuneration for Qualified Professionals, other than Retired Government Servants, would be Equivalent to similarly placed Government Servants.
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for the Posts as on 30.04.2023 are as follows:
1st Post: Below 62 Years
2nd and 3rd Posts: Below 55 Years
4th and 5th Posts: Below 40 Years

Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications, Experience, etc., in possession of the Application of the Applicants may be read in brief:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in the Discipline specific to the Post from any duly recognized University.
Eligibility Criteria and Required Experience:
i) The Officers in the Central Government Department/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/ State Government Department having held an Analogous Post in Pay Level 11 for 1st – 3rd Posts & Pay Level 08 for 4th and 5th Posts in the Pay Scales prescribed therein.
Experience:
For 1st Post: Minimum 15 Years in the Relevant Functional Domain under the Central Government Department/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/State Government Department.
For 2nd and 3rd Posts: Minimum 10 Years in the Relevant Functional Domains under the Central Government Department/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/ State Government Department.
For 4th and 5th Posts: Minimum 03 Years in the Relevant Service Fields under Central Government Department/Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking/ State Government Department.
Note: Preference will be given for Working Experience in Border Areas near the International Border.
The Selection Process for all notified Posts shall be carried out through Viva-voce/Personal Interaction.
