Deputy Director

• Officers of the Central or State Government or Union Territories or autonomous or statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutions:
• Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
  with five years of regular service in level-10 (Rs. 56,100 -1,77,500) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the
• parent cadre or department; and,
• Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience

Assistant Director

• Officers of the Central or State Government or Union Territories or autonomous or statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutions.
• holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
• with two years regular service in level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and,
• Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:

Qualification and Experience for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications and experience

Deputy Director

• Bachelor of engineering or technology in electrical or mechanical or electronics or communication discipline from a recognized university or institute; and,
• Candidate should have an experience of seven years in running of Building Management System (BMS) or Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS) facility management in Central Government or State Government or Union territories or autonomous or statutory organizations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutes.

Desirable

One-year Experience in running of Building Management System (BMS) for data center or Data Infrastructure Management System (DCIM)

Assistant Director

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute;
• Candidate should have at least two years experience in running of Building Management System (BMS) or Intelligent Building Management System (IBMS) facility management in a Central Government or State Government or Union territory or autonomous or statutory organisations or public sector undertakings or universities or recognized research institutes

Desirable

one-year experience in running of Building Management System (BMS) for a data centre or Data Centre Infrastructure Management System (DCIM).

Tenure for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023, the period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or another organisation or department of the central government, shall ordinarily not exceed four years for Deputy Director and Assistant Director posts, respectively, and three years for Assistant Director Posts.
