Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has called in Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry) Post in the Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS), Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 notification, The Union Public Service Commission notified 02 Vacancies have been earmarked for the Un-Reserved Category in reference to the Appointment for the Post Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry) under Pay Scale Level 10 (Rs.56100 to Rs.177500) in the Pay Matrix. Applicants may complete the Online Recruitment Application Process before the Last Date 12th January 2023 (12.01.2023).

Note I: The Candidate must ensure that all His/Her Qualifications and Experience are mentioned in the relevant Field over and above the Minimum Qualifications.

Post and Vacancy Information for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

Post: Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry)

Post Classification: General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

Employment nature: The Post is Permanent

Vacancy: 02 Nos. (Earmarked for General Merit Candidates)

Posting Location: MHA Ministerial Head Quarters, New Delhi

Pay Scale for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

Pay Scale: Level 10 (Rs.56100 to Rs.177500) in the Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules 2016

Post Selection, the Officers shall be entitled to the Pay Scale mentioned hereinabove.

Upper Age Limits vide Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

1) The Un-Reserved Category Candidates (as on the Closing Date 12.01.2023) should not exceed 35 Years

2) The Upper Age Limit remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

Eligibility for the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

As per the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 notification, The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience essential for the Applicants is as follows:

A) Educational Qualification:  Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the Subjects during all the 03-Years’ Bachelor of Science from any Accredited University/Equivalent Institute.

Important Note: The Educational Qualifications (prescribed under the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Advertisement) remain relaxable at the UPSC’s discretion for reasons to be recorded in writing, with respect to the Candidates otherwise well-qualified.

B) Experience: 03 years of Experience in Analytical Methods and Research therein in the Chemistry domain in any Government accredited Organization/Institution.

Selection Process for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

The Union Public Service Commission shall carry through the Recruitment Test Selection and Other Criteria.

Application Fee for Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023:

a) The Candidates shall need to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five only) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India through Cash/by using the Net-banking Facility of the State Bank of India/by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

b) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempt from paying the Application Fee.

i) visit the USPC ORA Website for completing the Online Application Process involving uploading Scanned Documents and the Application Fee;

ii) carefully read the Online Application/Registration Instructions available on the UPSC ORA Portal;

iii) initiate the Online Application Process as per the Instructions on the Online Registration Application Portal;

iv) scan Signature and the most Most-recent Passport-size Photograph for uploading with Online Registered Application (ORA);

v) ready Self-attested Documents to be uploaded UPSC Online Registration of Application;

vi) remit the Application Fee Online through Payment Gateway Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking, etc.
