Ministry of Science and Technology Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) has sought Applications from Experienced Officers fulfilling the Eligibility for the Post Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper (AMSK) On Deputation Basis in the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (GoI).

Personnel from among the Eligible Candidates, those who deem to have met the Eligibility for Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Post and, are willing to apply for the Deputation-based Post may apply both Online and Offline as per the Instructions in reference to the Application Process (Online and Offline).  There is 01 (One) Vacancy for Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Post. Only those Candidates, who in the event of Selection in the Post Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper may be relieved as per the Date of Reporting following Selection/Appointment should apply.

Note VIP: The Last Date for receipt of the Candidates’ Applications in the Office of the Under-Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology is 45 Days from issuance of the Recruitment Notification for the same in the Employment News.

The Last Date for receipt of the Candidate’s Application is 15 Days except for those having their Domiciles in from the Candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District, and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, hence, 30 Days for them, And 60 Days for the Candidates Residents in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep from the Date of Issuance of the said Advertisement in the Employment News.

Modality of Applying: Applications of the Applicants shall have to be submitted through Proper Channel, implying the the Cadre Controlling Authority/Head of Department/Organization should forward the Applicant’s Application with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or the Countersigned Testimonials with a Certification, which shall only be acknowledged.

The Cadre Controlling Authority countersigned with Seal Attestation Application Advance Copy of the Duly filled up Applications of only such Officers/Candidates shall be taken into consideration that have been routed through Proper Channel and is annexed with a) Cadre Clearance; b) Detailed Curriculum Vitae (in Duplicate) in the Application Proforma (Annexure-ll); c) Confidential Report (CR) Dossier duly Attested (on each Page with a Rubber Stamp), Photostats of the Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs)/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) of the preceding 05 (Five) Years (i.e., 2016 to 2020 Years); d) Vigilance Clearance (VC); e) Integrity Certificate (IC) and f) Statement listing the details of Major or Minor Penalties imposed on the Officer (if any), during the last 10 Years.

Selection Process and Engagement Terms: Selection to Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper Post will be conducted through a Personal Interview/Screening/Viva-voce. Post-Selection Appointment for Deputation Based Engagement as Assistant Manager-cum-Store Keeper will be offered to the Eligible Officer for 05 (Five) Years in a stretch.

03 Years’ Serving Experience in handling Store or Accounts in any Central Government Ministerial Department (CGMD) or the Government Central Public Undertaking (GCPU)

1) The Qualification about the Service Experience will remain relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in respect of the Candidates otherwise well-qualified.

2) Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for the reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of the Candidates otherwise well-qualified.
