Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Recruitment 2022: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is hiring suitable candidates for Senior Research Fellow/ Research Consultant (total 2 Positions one in each research project Sr. No. I & 2) and one position of Research Associate (in Project no. 3) purely temporary tenured position in the under­mentioned Research Projects. The selected candidate will work as per the office hours of the DAIC regularly.

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Recruitment 2022

1. Senior Research Fellow/ Research Consultant under the project – Socio-economic, health, and educational status of scheduled casts communities in India

Qualification and Experience:

Minimum:

a. M.A./ M.Phil. in Population Studies; having a minimum of 3 years of Research experience as a full-time researcher or during M.Phil. Ph.D. Research Work (Pursuing) in the relevant area;

b. Minimum three research papers published in the UGC Care list or Scopus Journal related to the research project.

Desirable:

a. Knowledge of the statistical tool, software, and techniques for handling and tabulation of the statistical data and knowledge of the statistical software;

b. Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS for the presentation of data.

Duration of the Project:

6 months (maximum)

Salary:

Rs 60000 consolidated per month

2. Senior Research Fellow/ Research Consultant under the project – Government of India’s initiative for the upliftment of the Schedule Caste Communities/marginalized communities in India

Qualification:

Minimum:

a. M.Phil.or Ph.D. in the Social Sciences or relevant discipline; having a minimum of three years of Research experience as a full-time researcher or during M.Phil., Ph.D. Research Work (Pursuing) in the relevant area.

Minimum three Research Articles Published in the UGC Care list or Scopus Journal related to the title project theme.

Preference will be given to a candidate who has working experience on Policy Monitoring and valuation in the Ministry or Niti Aayog.

Desirable: 

Knowledge of Statistics (SPSS software), Remote sensing & GIS; Proficiency in Hindi and English language. Proven record of writing skills.

Duration of the Project:

6 months (maximum)

Salary:

Rs 60000 consolidated per month

3. Senior Research Fellow/ Research Consultant under the project – Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Understanding on India national security and foreign policy. 

Qualification:

Minimum:

M.A., M.Phil.or Ph.D. in Political Science/ Law/ History or any other relevant subject of Social Sciences; having a minimum of two years of Research experience as a full-time researcher or during M.Phil., Ph.D. Research Work (Pursuing) in the relevant area;

Having published research papers in reputed research journals.

Preference will be given to a candidate who has a specialization in International Relations and working experience in national security and foreign policy research.

Desirable: 

Knowledge of Statistics, data tabulation, basic knowledge of handling computers and typing; proficiency in Hindi and English language. Proven record of writing skills.

Duration of the Project:

1 year (maximum)

Salary:

Rs 35000 consolidated per month
