MRPL Recruitment 2023: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is inviting applications from retired executives of Government /Oil PSUs / Transchart PSUs/Shipping PSUs for engagement as Consultant/Advisor purely on a contract basis. The candidates shall be appointed for a period of one year extendable by another year at the discretion of MRPL Management. The engagement as Consultant is purely on a temporary basis
As per MRPL Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested candidates may send their applications by Speed Post to Senior Manager (HR), Recruitment Section, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, Kuthethoor Post, Mangalore- 575030, Karnataka. The last date for receipt of hard copies of applications is 09/03/2023.
As per the MRPL Recruitment 2023 official notification, applications are invited for the post of Consultant/Advisor.
The place of work of the selected candidate will be decided based on the requirement of MRPL.
The age of the candidate shall not be 65 years at the time of joining MRPL as a consultant. The date of engagement at MRPL as a consultant will be a crucial date for deciding the age cut-off.
The eligible candidate should hold a Graduate degree in any discipline.
Physical Fitness: The applicants should be medically/physically fit, willing to put in long hours of work, and ready to undertake outstation travels for official work based on MRPL’s requirements.
The candidate should possess experience in the functional area of Shipping related to vessel chartering, covering commercial aspects of voyage charter agreements and time charter agreements of vessels handling crude oil, petroleum, and petrochemical products.
He/She should have knowledge of Shipping contract Management Agreements etc, prevailing National and International regulations for Tanker shipping leg, classification societies, IMO ISGOTT Guidelines, Port requirements, etc. is desirable.
The Consultant will be paid a consolidated salary equal to the basic pay at the time of their retirement from their respective PSU/ Government plus the prevailing DA at the time of offering the tenure appointment. The terms and conditions of all such appointments and the compensation will at all times be governed by the prevailing policy of MRPL from time to time.
The selection will be through personal interviews. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Mere submission of an application does not warrant calling for an interview. The engagement as a Consultant at all times will be governed by the prevailing policy of the Company on the subject.
Based on the MRPL Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested retired executives who are meeting the criteria may send their applications by Speed Post in the below-given format along with self-attested true copies of proof of date of birth, certificates, and mark sheets of educational qualifications and experience certificates from all previous employers. The envelope containing the application and testimonials shall be superscribed “Application for engagement as Consultant–Shipping at MRPL”.
