For Senior Research Fellow-
Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR a Graduate /Post Graduate Degree in the professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: – Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC-NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE Additionally, the candidate will be eligible for interview if they have qualified National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, etc.

Desirable Qualification-

• Enthusiastic for research and with a proven track record of research in the area of agricultural biotechnology and molecular biology.

For Research Associate-I (RA-I)-
Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have a PhD/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or have three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Candidate with thesis submission will also be eligible (along with proof of submission) but will be hired at SRF level till they receive their degree (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26.06.2023).

Desirable Qualification-

• Prior research experience in high-impact peer-reviewed publications.
• Research experience in the extraction of biopolymers.
• Research experience in the characterization of biopolymers and composite films/packaging materials.
• Research experience in post-harvest quality improvement studies of perishable commodities (fruits/vegetables) during storage.

For Junior Research Fellow-
Essential Qualification-

• The candidates should have MSc/ MTech in any area of life sciences or an equivalent degree.
  The candidates should have 55% total marks or equivalent scores in the qualifying degree (5% relaxation in marks will be given to SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/PWD as per GOI norms).
• In addition to the above, candidates applying for admission must qualify for a national-level test to pursue the Doctor of Philosophy program. Such tests include doctoral fellowship or admission eligibility tests conducted at the national level by recognized government agencies, such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), or any other government-recognized agency.

Experience for NABI Recruitment 2023:

For Senior Research Fellow-

• Enthusiastic for research and with a proven track record of research in the area of agricultural biotechnology and molecular biology.

• General plant molecular biology-related techniques such as cloning qPCR and Plant tissue culture

For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (Own Fellowship)-

• Strong molecular and cell biology expertise relevant to the current project.
• Prior experience in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering.
• Experience in protein expression and purification.
• Experience in protein-protein interaction (Y2H, Co-IP, etc) will be preferred.

Salary for NABI Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of NABI Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the mentioned positions will be paid a monthly salary of upto Rs.58000.

Tenure for NABI Recruitment 2023:

In order to apply in the official notification of NABI Recruitment 2023, the candidates required durations are given below according to the posts.

• For Senior Research Fellow– The research position is a purely temporary assignment and is tenable for a period of 1 (one) years. The total duration will be one year from the date of joining or completion of the project whichever is earlier.
• For Research Associate-I (RA-I)– The research associate-ship is a purely temporary assignment and is tenable for a period of 3 (three) years or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier.
• For Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (Own Fellowship)- The appointment will be initially for one year. Further up-gradation will be on the basis of the submission of a progress report and further assessment.

Mode of Selection for NABI Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NABI Recruitment 2023, the candidate selection will be based on a walk-in interview. All the candidates are requested to appear for a Walk-In interview with an application form, experience certificates, publications, and original degree certificates and transcripts. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
