NABI Recruitment 2023: National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is looking for qualified candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow under various projects. According to the official notification of NABI recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 31000. Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: –
1- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC-NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE and GPAT.
2- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
The given below is the experience required to apply for NABI recruitment 2023.
For GAP-33 project– Experience in bioinformatics and computational biology; next- generation genomic sequence analysis; expertise Python programming R-program.
For NABI core project- Experience in working with rodents especially mice (primary cell culture techniques, injection and surgical techniques, retrograde and anterograde labelling, real time RT-PCR, western blotting, immunohistochemistry with strong knowledge in basic concepts of gastrointestinal system and metabolism. Basic understanding of data analysis tools like R and Graphpad Prism and other bioinformatics tools will be plus.
For NABI Core- Working knowledge with molecular biology, especially in genome editing tools with good research publications in reputed journals. Knowledge in crop breeding tools will also be appreciated.
