NDMA Recruitment 2023: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), invites applications from Indian nationals for various Senior Consultant positions on a contractual basis. According to the official notification of NDMA recruitment 2023, the total number of vacancies is four from 4 different consultant posts. The maximum age limit for the above posts is 50 years (in the case of retired Central/Govt. employees, it shall be 64 years). The shortlisted applicants would be paid a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 1,75,000/-, which is applicable to all Senior Consultant disciplines.
According to the official notification of NDMA recruitment 2023, interested candidates may send their CV on the NDMA website along with a recent passport photograph, statement of purpose (SOP) in a maximum of 250 words, and copies of educational qualification certificates, experience certificates to mentioned post within 20 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the employment news.

For Senior Consultant (Urban Flood Management)
A candidate must have a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management, Hydrology, Flood Risk Management, Disaster Management, or any other discipline related to disaster management (geography, geology, environment, civil/geotechnical engineering) or Masters’s degree in Architecture./ Planning/ equivalent subject. He/she must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in urban planning/ flood/ urban flood management or related topics.
For Senior Consultant (Flood Management)
A candidate must have a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management, Hydrology, Flood Risk Management, Disaster Management, or any other discipline related to disaster management (geography, geology, environment, civil/geotechnical engineering) or Masters’s degree in Architecture./ Planning/ equivalent subject. He/she must have a Minimum 5 years of experience in flood risk management or related subject.
For Senior Consultant (Landslide & Avalanche)
A candidate must have a Master’s degree in Geology/Civil Engineering/ Geo-technical engineering or Master’s in Disaster Management. He/she must have 5 years of experience in landslide risk mitigation.
For Senior Consultant (Fire Risk Management)
A candidate must have a Graduation/Post Graduation in Fire Engineering/ Fire Safety Fire Services or an equivalent subject or Master’s in Disaster Management. He/she must have 5 years of experience in the Fire Risk Management department with knowledge and exposure to local/national/international codes of practice on fire safety and experience in conducting fire safety audits.
According to the official notification of NDMA recruitment 2023, the upper age limit for the above posts is 50 years (in the case of retired Central/Govt. employees, it shall be 64 years who have held a position with Grade Pay of INR 7600/-).
