According to the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is seeking applications for the posts of Senior Consultant (Guidelines ME) and Senior Consultant (Guidelines HADR) in operations divisions. There are 2 openings available for filling the aforementioned posts.

Essential Qualifications for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

For Senior Consultants (Guidelines ME):

• Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent in disaster management or related fields.
• Retired government employees with grade pay of Rs. 8700 (pre-revised) or Level 13 and above (7th CPC). Candidates with experience in handling disaster situations would be preferred.

Desirable:

• Candidates should have a degree of M.Phil. or Ph.D. in disaster management or related fields.

For Senior Consultant (Guidelines HADR):

• Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent in disaster management or related fields.

Required Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, candidates must have the following experience for these posts:

For Senior Consultant (Guidelines ME):

• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the conduct of the multistate, state, UT, and district-level disaster-related mock exercises and table-up exercises, or in relevant fields

Desirable:

• The candidates should have worked with a government agency, a leading regional/ international organization, or a public sector agency dealing with disaster management.

For Senior Consultant (Guidelines HADR):

• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in HADR support to other countries as well as conducting HADR exercises or in the relevant fields.

Desirable:

• The candidates should have worked with a government agency, a leading regional/ international organization, or a public sector agency dealing with disaster management.

Salary for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are selected for the mentioned posts will get a monthly salary of Rs 125,000–Rs 175,000 for both posts.

Duration of assignment for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, candidates who are selected for these posts will be assigned for 3 months and 27 days for both posts.
