NDMA Recruitment 2024: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is accepting applications from diligent candidates for the post of Senior Consultant/ Lead Consultant. Based on the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2024, the applicant’s upper age limit should be 50 years for a Lead Consultant and 62 years for a Senior Consultant. There are 03 seats available for the mentioned posts. The applicant must hold a Master’s Degree in Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Social Sciences, Geo-informatics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration and Development Planning or a related discipline.
According to the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2024, the applicant will be paid a salary of up to Rs. 250000 per month. In accordance with the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2024, interested and capable applicants have to submit the duly filled application form along with the required documents to the given address within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.
Required Qualifications and Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2024:
In accordance with the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below:
For Lead Consultant –
The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Disaster Management, Civil Engineering, Economics, Architecture, Social Sciences, Geo-informatics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Public Administration and Development Planning or a related discipline. Candidates with experience in handling Recovery and Reconstruction would be preferred.
Desirable-
The candidate should have an advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. in a related discipline. is desirable. Candidates must have a sound understanding and knowledge of issues relating to Recovery and Reconstruction.
For Senior Consultant –
The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Disaster Management/Architecture or Civil Engineering or Master’s degree in Urban Planning/Housing/Rural Planning with a bachelor’s in Architecture/Civil Engineering.
Desirable-
The candidate should have an advanced degree, such as a PhD in a related discipline, which is desirable.
Candidates must have a sound understanding and knowledge of issues relating to Recovery and Reconstruction.
For Senior Consultant –
The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Disaster Management, Economics, Public Policy, Livelihood, Rural Development, or Social Entrepreneurship.
Desirable-
The candidate should have an advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. in a related discipline, is desirable. Candidates must have a sound understanding and knowledge of issues relating to Recovery & Reconstruction.
As given in the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2024, the required experience is given below:
For Lead Consultant –
A candidate should have a minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience in disaster risk management, developmental projects, and programmes at either policy or programme level.
The candidate should have worked in national/international institutions on disaster risk management or implementing recovery projects is desirable.
Expertise in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, PPT, and Word is a must. Candidates should have proven writing skills in English, as the position requires dealing with national and state agencies regarding disaster risk reduction and related aspects.
For Senior Consultant –
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in disaster risk management, developmental projects and programmes at either policy or programme level.
The candidate should have worked in national/international institutions on disaster risk manage- ment or implementing recovery projects is desirable.
Candidates should have proven writing skills in English, as the position requires dealing with national and state agencies regarding disaster risk reduction and related aspects. Expertise in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel is a must. Additionally, candidates must have exper- tise in AutoCAD, Sketch up, and other design software.
The candidate should have Retired Government employees with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 (pre-revised)/Level-13 (7th CPC) and above with a minimum experience of 5 years in the relevant field. Candidates with experience in handling Recovery & Reconstruction programmes would be preferred.
