The  National Investigation Agency (NIA) is inviting candidates to fill up the Deputy Legal Adviser, Senior Public Prosecutor and Public Prosecutor on a Deputation/Absorption basis. The number of open seats for the indicated post is 12.

Deputy Legal Adviser
Officers of the Central Government State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government Organisation:- Statutory or Autonomous

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or
• With five years’ service in the grade on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department,

Senior Public Prosecutor
Officers of the Central Government State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / Semi-Government Organisation:- Statutory or Autonomous

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or
• With five years’ service in the grade on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-3, Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department,

Public Prosecutor
Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Recognized Research Institutions/ Universities / Public Sector Undertakings / semi-government/ Statutory or Autonomous Organisation:-

• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department, or
• With two years’ service in the grade on a regular basis in the post in Pay Band-2, Pay Scale of RS. 9300/- 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800  or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department,

Qualification and Experience for NIA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NIA Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications

Deputy Legal Adviser

• Candidate should have Bachelors’ Degree in Law from a recognised University,
• Ten years experience in Prosecution

Senior Public Prosecutor

• Candidate should have Bachelors Degree in Law from a recognised University;
• Eight years experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Public Prosecutor

• Candidate should have Bachelors’ Degree in Law from a recognised University;
• Five years experience in the Prosecution of Criminal Cases.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, The tenure of deputation (including short-term contracts) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or another organization/department of the Central Government may not exceed 04 years.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate will get a monthly salary on a scale pay between Rs.56100 to Rs.209200 per month with GP between Rs.5400 to Rs.7600.

Age Limit for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for the above post is 56 years.
