Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly pay scale from Level-06 (Rs.35400 to 112400) to Level-10 (Rs.56100 to 177500) (according to the posts).

Technical Forensic Psychologist:

The candidates should have a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognized University.

Desirable:

The candidates should have Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a recognized University.
The candidates should have M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology or M.Phil in Forensic Psychology.

Finger Print Expert:

The candidates should have M.Sc. Degree in any Science subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science or B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University.

Desirable:

The candidates should have Doctorate Degree relevant to qualification or Fingerprint expert examination from a recognized University.

Explosive Expert:

The candidates should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at B.Sc. Level from a recognized University.

Desirable:

The candidates should have a Doctorate Degree in Chemistry.

Cyber Forensic Examiner:

The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Technology Master’s Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science or Information Technology or Master of Technology in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized University.

Biology Expert:

The candidates should have M.Sc. Degree in Human Biology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Botany or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Biology/ Zoology as one of the subjects at B.Sc. level from a recognized University.

Desirable:

The candidates should have a Doctorate Degree in Human Biology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Anthropology (Physical)/ Botany.

Experience Required according to the posts is as mentioned below:

Technical Forensic Psychologist:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in applied Psychology or Criminology/ Crime Investigation.

Desirable:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in practising clinical psychology.

Finger Print Expert:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in a laboratory in the development and identification of Fingerprints.

Explosive Expert:

The candidates should have at least 05 years of experience in the examination of explosives and firearms.

Cyber Forensic Examiner:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in digital investigation/ computer forensics and cyber security work in Central Government or State Government or Union Territories or Statutory or Autonomous organisations/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Universities/ recognized research institutions/ private sector inter alia including organisations duly listed on the stock exchange.

Biology Expert:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of experience in the Biological Laboratory.
