NIA is inviting applications from applicants holding bachelor’s degree for the roles of Inspector, Sub Inspector, Asstt. Sub- Insp, Head Constable and Principal Information Officer. For the mentioned roles, there are 120 vacant seats.

Age Limit for NIA Recruitment 2024:

The applicant’s age should not exceed 56 years in order to apply for NIA Recruitment 2024.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2024:

The salary offered to the selected candidates for NIA Recruitment 2024 is given below-

For Inspector-

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in Pay Matrix Level-7 (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs 4600.

For Sub Inspector-

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in Pay Matrix Level-6 (Rs.35400 to Rs.112400) with Grade Pay Rs 4200.

For Asstt. Sub- Insp–

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs.29200 to Rs.92300 ) with Grade Pay Rs 2800.

For Head Constable-

• The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs.25500 to Rs.81700 ) with Grade Pay Rs 2400.

For Principal Information Officer-

• The selected candidate will get a salary between Rs. 123100 to Rs. 215900 per month.

Qualification for NIA Recruitment 2024:

The given below are the Qualification required to apply for NIA Recruitment 2024.

For Principal Information Officer-

• The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates must have minimum of ten years of experience in journalism or publicity within a Central, State, or Union territory government organisation.

For Inspector and Sub-Inspector-

• The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The candidate must have 02 years’ experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter terrorism.

For Asstt. Sub- Insp-

• The candidates must have Graduation degree from a recognized university.
• The candidates must have at least 02 years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or information technology management.

For Head Constable-

• Candidate must be 12th class pass or equivalent from any recognized Board of University.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidate for NIA Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for the mentioned time period.

For Principal Information Officer-

• The appointment is for a period of 05 years.

For Inspector, Sub Inspector, Asstt. Sub- Insp and Head Constable-

• The period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 03 years.
