NIOT Recruitment 2023: National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, invites applicants for the engagement of Apprentices under the apprenticeship act 1961. As per the NIOT Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for candidates who have recently completed their qualifications from a series of disciplines that are Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Sc (Chemistry/ Biology / Physics), B.Sc (Comp.Sci)/ BCA, B.Com, and BLIS. The total number of vacancies is 25. The appointed individuals will be given a monthly stipend of Rs.9,000 if they have a degree, and Rs.8,000 if they have a certificate. Candidates will be appointed for one year duration period. After successfully completing one year of training, apprentices are granted a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) by NIOT, which counts as one year of experience when seeking future employment. The age limit regulation will be determined based on the selection criteria.
As per the NIOT Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested and eligible candidates must have a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, a Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, Degree/Diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation, and a Degree/Diploma in Electronics and Communication for which apprentices are invited. The candidates are invited to visit the link available on the official website to download the prescribed application form as well as submit it online before the closing date of application submission. The application will be forwarded to the Director, National Institute Of Ocean Technology, Velachery – Tambaram Main Road, Narayanapuram, Pallikaranai, Chennai by 31.08.2023. In the event that a high number of applications are received, the NIOT maintains the right to limit the number depending on the marks earned in the Degree/Diploma. The Director, NIOT’s judgement on the manner of selection is final.
