NITI Aayog Recruitment 2022: The NITI Aayog which stands for National Institution for Transforming India, is the apex public policy think tank of the Government of India, and it is also the nodal agency that is tasked with catalyzing economic development and fostering cooperative federalism through the involvement of State Governments of India in the economic policy-making process. The department presently is hiring candidates for the vacant post of Senior Lead (Senior Adviser) and Lead (Adviser).
Suitable officers who meet the eligibility conditions for the recruitment ongoing in the department will be able to apply for the vacant position in the area of Education under the Flexi Pool of NITI Aayog, and there is only one vacancy for which anyone can apply by going to the official website of the NITI Aayog. The recruitment for the following job profile will be on a deputation (including short-term contract) / Contract basis.

Note: Officers who are already appointed on a contract basis will not be entitled to residential accommodation, official transport, leave encashment, or any other allowances/facilities as admissible to a regular government employee. Leave rules entitled to a regular Government employee will not be applicable to a contractual appointee. However, a contractual appointee will be entitled to 8 days’ leave on a pro-ratio basis in a calendar year.
Masters’ Degree in any discipline or MBBS or Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Passed in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineers (India) or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Two years). Additional required qualifications include a Doctorate in any discipline or a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
The preferred age limit for the post of Senior Lead (Senior Advisor) for the contractual appointment is not less than 40 years but should not be exceeding 52 years. And for the post of Lead (Advisor) on a contractual basis, the preferred age limit is Not less than 35 years but not exceeding 50 years. For appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) for the post of Senior Lead (Sr. Adviser) / Lead (Adviser) age shall not be exceeding 58 years as of the closing date of the receipt of the applications.
Age and post-essential qualification experience (which shall include up to 03 years for Ph.D. provided no work experience is counted during those 03 years) in formulation, appraisal, execution/implementation, research, monitoring, and evaluation of policy, program or projects are required as per the following table:
To get appointed for the vacant post on a contract basis, the candidates should be medically fit and will have to produce a medical certificate constituted by the Central Government for this purpose unless he/she has already been declared fit by an equivalent authority.
Initially up to 3 years, which can be extended up to 5 years, depending on the requirements, or till the age of 60 years, whichever is earlier.
