Based on the NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, the Officers selected as Senior Specialists and Specialists shall be entitled to Monthly Pay, both, Consolidated and in the Pay Matrices narrated hereunder:

A) Deputation (ISTC) Based Pay Matrices:

01) Senior Specialist: Pay Matrix Level 13

02) Specialist: Pay Matrix Level 12

B) Contractual-Based Consolidated Pay:

01) Senior Specialist: Rs.2.20 Lac (Rupees Two Lac and Twenty Thousand) only

02) Specialist: Rs. 1.45 Lac (Rupees One Lac Forty-Five Thousand) only

Maximum Age Limits for NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023:

A) Deputation (ISTC) Posts:

01) Senior Specialist: Not exceeding 56 Years

02) Specialist: Not exceeding 56 Years

B) Contractual-Based Posts:

01) Senior Specialist: Neither Lesser than 33 Years not Exceeding 50 Years

02) Specialist: Neither Lesser than 30 Years not Exceeding 50 Years

Eligibility for NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023:

According to the NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular, the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualification and Post-Qualification Experience stipulated for Senior Specialist and Specialist Posts should be read as follows:

Contractual Engagement Essential Qualifications:

I) Educational:

Master’s Degree in any Discipline (Or) MBBS (Or) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from any Accredited University or Passed in Sections ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineers (India) (Or) 02-Years’ Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.

II) Post-Qualification Experience:

A) Senior Specialist: 10 Years

B) Specialist: 08 Years

Deputationist Appointment Essential Qualifications:

Specific Requirements: From amongst the Central Government/State Governments/Union Territory Administrations (Including their Attached and Subordinate Offices)/Accredited Research Institutions/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Statutory Organizations

01) Senior Specialist Post, who are

A-I) Holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or

II) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in Pay Matrix Level 12 With the Educational Qualification(s) and Post-Qualification Experience mentioned against Contractual Based Posts hereinabove.

02) Specialist Post, who are

A-I) Holding Analogous Posts on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre/Department; Or

II) With 05-Years’ Regular Service in Pay Matrix Level 11 With the Educational Qualification(s) and Post-Qualification Experience mentioned against Contractual Based Posts hereinabove.

Selection Criteria under NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023:

The NITI Aayog Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Circular/Notice mandates the Selection Process for Both Senior Specialist and Specialist Posts under Contractual-Bases and Deputation (Including Short-Term Contractual) Basis By Deputation.
