According to the official notification of NML Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be appointed for 03 years and extended up to 02 years based on organizational requirements.

Age Limit for NML Recruitment 2023:

• The maximum age limit should be 30 years, except for vocational training Instructors.
• For Vocational Training Instructor- The upper age limit should be 40 years.

Salary for NML Recruitment 2023:

• The candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.50,000 years for all posts except Mining Sirdar.
• For Mining Sirdar- The candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.40,000.

Application Fee for NML Recruitment 2023:

• Payment in Online mode: Candidates have the option to pay the fees online through Net banking / Debit Card (Rupay Debit Cards Only) / Credit Card). The online payment option will be available in the online application form.

Essential Qualifications for NML Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of NML Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications are mentioned below:

For Mine Overman and Magazine Incharge-

• The candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mining from an Institute of repute with a minimum 60% (For SC/ ST minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) and an Overman Certificate of Competency under CMR from DGMS for coal. Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Institutes recognized by DGMS.

For Mechanical Supervisor-

• The candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering from an Institute of repute with a minimum 60% (For SC/ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks).

For Junior Mine Surveyor-

• The candidate should have a full-time regular Diploma in Mine Survey / Diploma in Mining Engineering Diploma in Mining and Mine Surveying / Diploma in Civil from an Institute of repute with a minimum 60% (For SC/ ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks) with Survey Certificate issued by DGMS.

For Mining Sirdar-

• The candidate should have passed a Matric/ 10th pass from Govt recognised Board, with a valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competency issued by DGMS for coal and Valid First Aid certificate issued with minimum 60% (For SC/ST – minimum marks in academic qualification shall be pass marks).

Selection Procedure for NML Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NML Recruitment 2023, shortlisted candidates will be chosen in 2 stages—a written test and a skill/competency test.

The 2 stages are mentioned below:

• 1st Stage: Written Test- In first stage, a Written Test of Total 100 marks, comprising of multiple-choice questions, covering relevant subject / discipline, will be conducted. The duration of the Test will be upto 120 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in case of General/EWS category and 30% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates will be shortlisted at an approved call ratio for 2nd stage Test.
• 2nd Stage: Skill / Competency Test- In 2nd stage, a Skill / Competency Test of total 100 marks in respective discipline will be conducted. The qualifying marks are 40% marks in case of General/EWS category and 30% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates. The candidates shall be selected on the basis of the merit in the Written Test, subject to the condition that the candidate qualifies in the Skill / Competence Test.
• The 1st and 2nd Stage Tests shall be conducted at Test Centres in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The address of the venue will be notified through the admit card.
