Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Northern Railway (Delhi Division), Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, (Government of India) has invited Applications from Retired and Experienced Officers for Re-engagement as Engineering Staff in the Engineering, Signal and Telecommunication and Electrical Exigencies of Services for GatiShakti Unit (GSU) of Delhi Division. The Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement has arisen for 11 Vacancies out of the Approved Strength of 18 Staff Persons for Re-Engagement as Senior Section Engineer (SSE)/Junior Engineer (JE), Controller of Stores (CoS), Office Superintendent (OS) in the Engineering, Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) and Electrical Branches.
According to the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, 14.07.2023 is the Last Date for Submission of the Applications In-Person by the Willing and Eligible Candidates. Thus, the Eligible Candidates with duly completed Applications may apply before 14.07.2023, the Crucial Date for submission of the Applications.

Posting Location: Delhi Division
Appointment Terms: Post-Selection of the Candidate on the Post, Re-Engagement shall remain Valid for 01 Year from the Date of Engagement. However, Retired Staff’s Engagement shall likely be extended from time to time as per the Administrative Requirement.
Based on the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Applicants post-appointment shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary under narrated hereunder:
Monthly Compensation: Consolidated Lump-sum Payment Per Month shall remain Equal to the Last Pay Pus DA drawn Minus Pension (Basic Plus DA) at the time of Retirement, Fixed Monthly Remuneration Plus Full Pension shall not exceed the Last Pay drawn at the time of Retirement. According to the Railway Board Letter No. E(NG)-II/2007/RC-4/CORE/I Dated 24.10.2019 under the NRPS No. 18.11.2019.
Based on the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice the Maximum Age Limit for the Eligible Applicants/Persons should be as on the Closing Date for receipt of the Application.
Age Limit: Retired Railway Supervisors must not have attained more than 64½ Years, to ensure that Minimum 06 Months are Available for RE-Engagement.
According to the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification the Eligibility, i.e., specific Requirements for all the Posts, shall remain as hereunder:
The Retired Employees to be Re-engaged, should not have been covered under the Safety Related Retirement Scheme/Liberalized Active. Retirement Scheme for Guaranteed Employment for Safety Staff (LARSGESS).
The Selection Procedure for the Notified Posts shall involve Viva-voce/Personal Interaction as explained in the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice. The Individuals to be called in for Viva-voce shall be shortlisted on the basis of the Eligibility Criteria including Serving Experience, etc. The Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of the Eligibility Criteria. Only Shortlisted Candidates shall be called in for Personal Interviews/ Interaction.
Appointment Terms: Post-Selection on the Post, Candidate’s Appointment with Service Duration shall remain Initially for 01 Year. However, the Contractual Duration stands Extendable Not Beyond/Till 65 Years attained Service.
