Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: Northern Railway is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Contract Medical Practitioners (CMPs). As per the official notification of Northern Railway Recruitment 2023, there are 08 vacancies for the mentioned position. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have an MBBS Degree (with completion of internship) from any University/ Institute recognized and registered by Indian Medical Council. The selected candidates will get a monthly remuneration at the rate of Rs.75000 will be admissible (subject to the condition that remuneration+pension drawn should not exceed the last pay drawn) if Government accommodation is not provided. If Government accommodation is provided, an amount equivalent to House Rest Allowance payable to a fresh entrant to Group-A Jr. Scale and license fee of Railway accommodation so provided shall be deducted from the monthly remuneration payable to the CMP. The age limit for retired railway doctors and Central/ State Government retired doctors is the candidates should not have completed more than 67 years of age. The candidates should have relevant experience in their appropriate field. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should not exceed the age of 53 years, with an age relaxation of 05 years SC/ ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.
According to the official notification of Northern Railway Recruitment 2023, the tenure will be on a contractual basis and is extendable up to a total of 12 years on year to year basis with each term of engagement not being more than 01 year for doctors engaged from open market and 07 terms on year to year basis with each term of engagement not being more than 01 year each for retired railway doctors Central/ State government retired doctors engaged up to the maximum age limit of 67 years.
