• Candidates should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level examination.

For Scientific Assistant – C:

• Candidates should have a 3-year diploma in engineering in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, and production after SSC/HSC approval by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks. OR
• Candidates should have a 2-year Diploma in Engineering in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, and Production through Lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC is approved by AICTE with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates with a diploma through Lateral entry to 2nd year Diploma after 10th (SSC) + ITI shall not be eligible.
• The candidate should have 4 years of work experience after obtaining the requisite qualifications.

For Assistant Grade– 1 (HR, F&A, C&MM):

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
• Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS Windows Operating Systems and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), e-mail Management, and Internet Surfing.

For Stipendiary Trainees/Technicians (ST/TM) (Cat-II) – Plant Operator / Maintainer:

• Candidates who are selected for this post will get a stipend of Rs. 20,000 per month during 1st year of training.
• Candidates who are selected for this post will get a stipend of Rs. 22000 per month during 2nd year of training.

For Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Cat- I):

• Candidates who are selected for this post will get a Stipend of Rs. 24000 per month During 1st year of training.
• Candidates who are selected for this post will get a Stipend of Rs. 26000 per month During 2nd year of training.

Application Fee for NPCIL Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the notification of NPCIL Recruitment 2023, all male candidates in the General, EWS, and OBC categories must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100 for Group C (AGs & ST/Tech) and Rs. 150 for Group B (ST/SA and SA/C).
