According to the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 05 years.

Qualification and Experience for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are given below-

For Head of Operations-

• Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 19 years post-qualification experience in the Commissioning and Operation of the Methanol /Urea/ Ammonia /Chemical process industry.
• The candidate should be conversant in the Operation and Operation planning of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Chemical process plants, their safety system and General HSE Guidelines of the chemical industry/Fire and safety system.
• Technical proficiency in Engineering, Process and Operation/ Commissioning aspects of a chemical process plant is desired and experience in Methanol/Ammonia/ Fertilizer/ Petrochemical/ Solvent plant shall be preferred.

For Head of Maintenance-

• Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Chemical/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in the Commissioning and Maintenance of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Chemical process industry.
• The candidate should be conversant in Maintenance and Maintenance planning of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Chemical process plants, their safety system and General HSE Guidelines of the chemical industry/Fire and safety system.
• Technical proficiency in Maintenance and Engineering aspects of a chemical process plant is desired and experience in Methanol/Ammonia/Fertilizer/ Petrochemical/ Solvent plant shall be preferred.

For Shift Charges Engineers-

• Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 12 years post-qualification experience in the Commissioning and Operation of Methanol Urea/ammonia/Chemical process industry including DCS/Control Desk operation.
• The candidate should be conversant in the Operation and Operation Planning of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Chemical process plants, their safety system and General HSE Guidelines of the chemical industry/Fire and safety system.
• Technical proficiency in Engineering, Process and Operation/ Commissioning aspects of a chemical process plant is desired and experience in Methanol/Ammonia/Fertilizer/Petrochemical/ Solvent plant shall be preferred.

For Executive (Control Room Operation)-

• Candidate should have a Degree in Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 03 years post-qualification experience in Commissioning and DCS/Control Room-Desk Operation of Methanol/Urea/ ammonia/Chemical process industry.
• The candidate should be conversant in the Operation and Operation Planning of Methanol/Urea/Ammonia/Chemical process plants, their safety system and General HSE Guidelines of the chemical industry/Fire and safety system.
• Technical proficiency in Engineering, Process and Operation/ Commissioning aspects of a chemical process plant is desired and experience in Methanol/Ammonia/Fertilizer/Petrochemical/ Solvent plant shall be preferred.

Salary for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs.260000.

Application Fee for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2023, the application fee is Rs.300. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM categories and female candidates are not required to pay the application fee. The payment will be made online as well as offline. The fees will be paid online (through Net banking / Debit Card/Credit Card) and State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the application fee, in a specially opened account (A/C No. 30987919993) at CAG branch, New Delhi (Code: 09996), on behalf of NTPC.

Selection Process for NTPC Recruitment 2023:
