Pay Scale under NTPC Recruitment 2023:

The NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, post-Selection provides for the Monthly Pay and Allowances in respect of the Director (Operations) Designated Officers to be read hereunder:

Pay Scale: Rs.180000 -340000 Per Month (IDA)

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for Director Post is 02 (Two) Years in respect of the Internal Candidates, and  03 (Three) Years for Others (External) as on 01.02.2024.

Age Limits for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

According to the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits stipulated for Internal and External Candidates are explained  hereunder:

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on the VOD 01.02.2024)

A) Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy) with reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years (and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Vacancy Occurrence Date) with regard to the  Superannuation Date.

Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible Applicants having in possession the following Essential Eligibility in accordance with the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification narrated in brief hereunder:

Essential Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Graduation in Science from any Duly Recognized University/Institute with Good Academic Record.

Desirable: The Applicants having in possession MBA/PGDM will have an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 05 (Five) Years’ Experience during last 10 (Ten) Years in Construction/Technical Operation/Maintenance of Power Plants in any Organization of Repute with Establishments at Multiple Locations with Pan India Presence.

Selection Criteria under NTPC Recruitment 2023:

As may be referred to the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Notification, selection on to Director (Operations) Post shall be carried through by Viva-voce/ Interview for Appointment.

For Appointment on Director (Operations) Post, the Public Enterprises Selection Board will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered Services in any of the Listed Companies narrated in the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Incumbent’s Tenure as Director (Operations) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining/up to the Date of Superannuation/until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier  to be read in the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection for the Post Director (Operations) may be spared for Appointment, should apply through the “Proper Channel”.

Note 2: The Applicant on the Date of Application as well as on the Interview Date should be in Employment in a Regular Capacity, not in a Contractual or Ad-hoc Capacity in the Following Concerns:

I) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) (including a Full-Time Functional Director on the Board of a CPSE);

II) Central Government including the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services;

III) State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE), where the Annual Turnover is *Rs 1000 Crore or more;

On the basis of the NTPC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligible Applicants with Desire for NTPC Director (Operations) Post should apply Online.  Subsequent to the Online Application,  Printout of the Online Application is needed to be submitted in the Offline Mode.
