According to the official notification of NUJS Recruitment 2023, there are 16 vacancies open for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various law specializations.

Qualification for NUJS Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of NUJS Recruitment 2023, the required qualification is mentioned below-

For Professor-

• An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in UGC CARE/SCOPUS listed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria prescribed by the UGC.
• A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, and/or research experience at an equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates. OR
• An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. degree in the relevant/allied/applied disciplines, from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years teaching experience.

For Associate Professor-

• A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines with relevance to the post advertised along with teaching experience and who has made a significant contribution to the knowledge in the concerned area of specialized subject with relevance to the post.
• A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
• A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry- with a minimum of seven publications in UGC CARE/SCOPUS listed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria prescribed by UGC.

Salary for NUJS Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of NUJS Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs.144200.

Application Fee for NUJS Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NUJS Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs.2000 and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.1500 as an application fee. The payment will be made online through the SBI collect.

As per the official notification of NUJS Recruitment 2023 notification, willing and interested candidates should obtain the prescribed format from the official website and send the same duly filled application form along with the supporting documents to the Registrar, The West Bengal National University Juridical Sciences, Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan, 112 LB Block, Sector III, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700106 on or before the deadline. The other mode of application will not be accepted.
