Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Recruitment 2022: The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), is a well-known Indian oil and gas explorer and producer, which has its headquarters located in New Delhi, India. Founded on 14th August of the year 1956 by the Government of India, it is considered a Mahartana Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) and India’s flagship oil and gas corporation. All of the operations of the company are overseen by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. As per the survey by the Government of India for the fiscal year 2019-20, the company was ranked as the largest profit-making public sector enterprise (PSU) in India.
It is believed that the company currently has 33,600 employees, out of which 2,208 are women (6.57%) and 245 are employees with disabilities (0.73%). ONGC is undoubtedly seen as the top employer in the energy sector in India as it recruits eligible candidates for various vacant posts every year. Recently, a notification has been posted on the company’s official website inviting willing candidates to apply for 12 months of industrial training. Eligible students of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will be able to apply for the training session by going through the organization’s official website, which is www.ongc.india.com.
There are a total of 25 seats available in the training program in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, and the duration of the training is a maximum of 12 months. Those who are interested in being a part of the training program must check out the details regarding the eligibility criteria.
Candidates willing to apply for the training session in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation must possess all the necessary educational qualifications. IPC/Intermediate pass certificate issued from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in India is required to apply for the training program in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% of marks in class 12th. Also, the applicant must be born on or after 01.01.1998.
The selected candidates will be entitled to a monthly remuneration of Rs. 15,000 per month. Also, the trainees will need to make their own arrangements for boarding, lodging, and traveling.
The locations for the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation training sessions are as follows: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Dehradun, Hazira, Uran, Bokaro, Ankleshwar, Mehsana, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Cambay, Jodhpur, Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Karaikal, Sibsagar, Jorhat, Agartala, and Silchar.
The selection of the candidates for the post will be made based on the screening criteria, and the selected candidate will be called for an interview for final selection. Applicants will be attending the interview at their own expanse. The interview will be scheduled to be held over the phone/online mode.
