Post Name and Vacancies for Oil India Recruitment 2024:

Oil India is inviting applications from capable candidates for the posts of Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator, Contractual Drilling/Workover Mechanic, Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator and Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Mechanic. There are a total of 23 vacancies available for the aforesaid positions, as per the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024.

Tenure for Oil India Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024, the selected candidates will have to serve a minimum period of 01 year. The initial period of the contractual engagement will be for a period of 06 (Six) months, which is extendable by another tenure of 06 (Six) months subject to departmental requirement, performance and conduct of the incumbent, medical fitness etc.

Age Limit for Oil India Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024, the age limit is mentioned below:

For Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator –

• The lower age limit should be 18 years and the upper age limit should be 45 years.

For Contractual Drilling/Workover Mechanic, Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator and Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Mechanic-

• The lower age limit should be 18 years and the upper age limit should be 40 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Oil India Recruitment 2024:

As given in the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024, the eligibility criteria are listed below:

For Contractual Drilling/Workover Mechanic-

• The candidate should have a Passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• The candidate should have Passed 03 (Three) years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering from Government Recognized Polytechnic.
• The candidate should have Must have minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification relevant work experience like maintenance and operation of engines, pumps, compressors, generating sets, laying and connecting high pressure lines
  etc. in Drilling/Workover wells in any E&P company.

For Contractual Drilling/ Workover Assistant Operator-

• The candidate should have passed Class 10 from Government Recognized Education Board.
• The candidate should have Trade certificate in any trade of Diesel Mechanic/ Fitter / Electrician / Turner/ Welder / Motor Mechanic / Machinist Trade from Government Recognized Institute.
• The candidate should have minimum 02 (Two) years post qualification work experience in Drilling/Workover activities like rig floor operations such as making & lowering BHA, Double and Thribble Board operations like tripping in/tripping out tubular etc.

Salary for Oil India Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of Oil India Recruitment 2024, the applicants who are chosen will receive the monthly salary is given below:

For Contractual Drilling/Workover Operator and Contractual Drilling/Workover Mechanic –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.19500.

For Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Operator and Contractual Drilling/Workover Assistant Mechanic-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.16640.
