OIL Recruitment 2023: Oil India Limited (OIL), Government of India Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) in the light of the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification has invited Online Applications from Eligible Trade Apprentice, Engineering Graduate and Diploma Apprentice Candidate(s) under Grade III/V/VII as follows:
a) Who have successfully undergone and completed Apprenticeship Training in the Relevant Trades in Oil India Limited and passed All India Trade Test for Apprentices conducted by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT);
b) Diploma Apprentice Candidate(s) who have successfully undergone and completed the Apprenticeship Training in the relevant Discipline in Oil India Limited and possess a Certificate of Proficiency issued by Board of Practical Training (BOPT), Eastern Region, Kolkata.
Based on the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, such Candidates having satisfied the aforementioned Eligibility Criteria for i) Trade Apprentices, ii) Graduate Apprentice and iii) Diploma Apprentices may apply from 28.03.2023 up to 25.04.2023 notified therein. According to the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 187 Vacancies to be filled up for Trade Apprentices, Graduate Apprentices and Diploma Apprentices through a Computer-Based Written Test yielding a Common Merit List out of the Marks obtained over and above the Minimum Qualifying Marks by the Un-Reserved Category and Reserved Community Candidates.
According to the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 187 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointment into Trade Apprentices for all Posts explained hereunder:
A) 1st – 6th Post Trade Apprentices: 134 Vacancies
B) 7th – 9th Post Trade Apprentices: 43 Vacancies
C) 10th – 12th Trade Apprentices: 10 Vacancies
Total Vacancies: 187 Nos.
According to the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Monthly Salary Pay Scale applicable to Trade Apprentice Grade III/V/VII
i) 1st – 6th Post Code Trade Apprentices: Grade-III (Pay Scale Rs.26600-90000)
ii) 7th – 9th Post Code Trade Apprentices: Grade-V (Pay Scale Rs.32000–127000)
iii) 10th – 12th Post Code Diploma Trade Apprentices Grade-VII: (Pay Scale Rs.37500–145000)
As per the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Age Limits (as on 25.04.2023) for General Merit Candidates are hereunder:
i) Minimum 18 Years for all General Category /and Reserved Community Candidates specific to the Posts are as
ii) Maximum 30 Years for 1st to 6th and 8th, 10th up to 12th Trade Apprentice Posts
iii) Maximum 33 for 7th Trade Apprentice Post
iv) Maximum 32 for 9th Trade Apprentice Post
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as well as Ex-Service-Men and OIL Personnel are as per the Government Rules.
A) Eligibility for 1st to 6th Trade Apprentice Posts:
i) Intermediate (10+2)/12th Pass
ii) Trade Certificate in the Post-allied Subject
B) Eligibility for 7th-9th Post Trade Apprentice Posts:
i) Bachelor’s Degree/Graduate in the Post related Subject
ii) Trade Certificate in the Post-allied Subject
C) Eligibility for 10th-12th Post Trade Apprentice Posts
i) Diploma in the Trade-related Subject
Shortlisting Procedure:
Only those Candidates having fulfilled the Eligibility Criteria submitted in the Online Applications as on the Crucial Date will be called in to appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).
According to the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection on to all OIL Trade Apprentice Posts comprises a Computer-Based Written Test for 100% Marks with 03 consisting therein. The Marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test shall yield a Common Merit List.
Final Selection for all Trade Apprentices shall be carried out in order of Merit on the basis of the Marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
The Selection Process mandates the Candidates to secure Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Computer Based Test. The General Merit and other Candidates than SC/STs/Persons with Benchmark Disability Minimum shall need to secure 50% Marks. The Minimum Pass Marks for SCs/STs/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (Wherever Reservation is Applicable) are 40%.
TIE Resolving Methodology:
i) In the Final Merit List for Selection, in case more than One Candidates having scored Equal Marks in the Computer Based Test (CBT), then the Candidate with more marks in Part-C of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be given Preference.
ii) In case the Candidates’ Marks in Part-C remain Equal, then the Candidate having scored more Marks in Part-B will be given Preference.
iii) If Candidates’ Marks in Part-B also remain Equal, then the Candidate Senior/Older in Age will be given Preference in the Final Merit List drawn up out of the Computer Based Test.
Based on the OIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Requisite Application Fee to be paid by General Category and OBC Candidates shall be as follows:
Un-Reserved AND OBC (NCL) Candidates: Rs 200 (towards Online Application Fee exclusive of GST and Payment Gateway/Bank Charges.
