Oil India Limited (OIL) is recruiting aspirants on a contractual basis to fill up Chemist, Drilling Engineer, and HSE / Fire Safety Officer positions. The number of vacancies avail for the given post is 07.

Tenure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the applicant will be hired for a period of 01 – year extendable by another 01-year subject to a maximum period of 02 years. The contract time will be prolonged based on the company’s needs, the individual’s performance, conduct, fitness, and so on.

Age Limit for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the above post is 24 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years.

Qualification for OIL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the OIL Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Chemist

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry with minimum 02  years duration/Bachelors’s in Chemical Engineering with minimum 04  years duration from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Candidate should have Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 05 years as a Chemist / Mud Engineer in drilling wells.

Drilling Engineer

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering with a minimum of 04 years duration/Master’s degree in Engineering with minimum 02 years duration from a Govt. recognized institute. (Any discipline).
• Candidate should have Post Qualification Work Experience of more than 03 years in Drilling Operations. Must have worked at least at Driller Level or as Drilling Engineer or as Company Representative.
• Candidate must possess IWCF Level-4 / IADC-L4 Certification

HSE / Fire Safety Officer

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Fire Engineering / Fire and  Safety Engineering / Environmental Engineering with a minimum of 04  years duration from a Govt. recognized institute.
  OR
• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science with minimum 02 years duration from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Candidate should have a  Post qualification work experience of more than 03 years in Fire/Safety / Environment /EIA consultancy / HSE Fields. Preferably in upstream E&P (Oil & Gas) company.

Salary for OIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the applicant selected for the HSE / Fire Safety Officer post will get Rs.70000, for the Drilling Engineer post candidate will get a salary of Rs.80000 and for the Chemist post candidate will get a salary of Rs.100000 per month.

Chemist

• The ideal candidate would be fluent in both English and Hindi.
• The candidate must be well-versed in all mathematical computations connected to drilling, mud engineering, and cementing operations.
• The candidate must be able to work in a multidisciplinary context as well as with other service providers.

Drilling Engineer

• Must have a valid IWCF Level-4 (Supervisor Level) certificate.
• Must have good people management skills and experience interacting with the public.

HSE / Fire Safety Officer

• Should be well-versed in fire protection systems, installation safety, and environmental protection recommendations provided by various government and internal bodies.
• Should be familiar with HSE issues.
• Must have strong people management skills and experience interacting with the public, government officials, and others.
• Working knowledge of computers and laptops is required.

Selection Procedure for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be selected based on Walk-in-Interview of a total of 100 marks.

• The minimum qualifying marks will be 50 for all categories.
• The breakup of 100 marks will be on, Professional Knowledge and skills (in the concerned discipline), Professional Knowledge and skills (in allied discipline), Personal Attributes, and Soft Skills.
• Final selection from among the candidates who have appeared and secured the minimum qualifying marks of 50 in the Walk-in-Interview will be only on the basis of merit as per the marks obtained in the Walk-in-Interview.
