OPSC Recruitment 2023: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Assistant Director of Textile. Candidate must have a degree in textile technology, Spinning and Weaving from a recognised institute OR a Degree in Textile Chemistry OR a Diploma in textile technology/ Handloom Technology from a recognised institution with a minimum practice experience of three years in the spinning/weaving department of a textile Mill or handloom industry or under the state government.
As per the OPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for this job post should have crossed the age of 21 years and the maximum age limit for this job post is 38 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1985 and not later than 1st August 2002. Provided that the upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxed by five (05) years for candidates belonging to the categories of Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C.), Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Women & Ex-Servicemen and by 10 (Ten) years for Persons with Disabilities whose permanent disability is 40% (forty per cent) and more. Persons with Disabilities belonging to SEBC/ SC categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefits for upto fifteen (15) years.
