OPSC Recruitment 2023: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting applications from qualified and interested individuals for the position of Mining Officer in Group-A to fill vacant posts in the Steel and Mines Department of the Government of Odisha. As per the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, applicants would be appointed for 23 positions in the categories of Unreserved (09), SEBC (04), Scheduled Caste (04), and Scheduled Tribe (06). The selected individuals would be paid Rs.56,100 monthly at level 12, Cell-1 of the pay matrix. Candidates with a Mining Engineering degree from a recognised Indian university will be considered.
As per the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit of interested candidates should be 21 and 38 (maximum age limit) to apply for the available positions. Interested and qualified applicants must submit their application online and upload a scanned image of their most recent passport-size photograph, together with all applicable documentation, on or before the 31st of July 2023. There will be no offline application mode accepted. Candidates will be chosen based on a written test and an oral interview. The maximum mark for the Viva Voce test is 50 points, and two tests will total 500 points. The written test will be held in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
