Post Name and Vacancies for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

OPSC is hiring qualified candidates for the post of Inspector of Motor Vehicle /Additional R.T.O. (Enforcement)/Assistant Works Engineer in Group-A of Odisha Transport Engineering Service under the Commerce and Transport Department. As per the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 08 vacancies for the given post.

Qualification for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the OPSC Recruitment 2023, The applicant must hold a Degree from a recognized university.

1. Automobile Engineering.
2. Mechanical Engineering with Automobile Engineering as a subject. OR
3. Any other subject or discipline from a recognized University as may be declared by the Government to be equivalent to the degree as specified in Clause.
4. Possess a license to drive a Transport Vehicle.
5. Provided that Candidates not possessing a valid driving license for Transport Vehicle, shall undergo driving training of Transport Vehicle in a recognized Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Training School during the probation period and obtain the driving license, the failing which his service shall be liable to be terminated.
6. Candidates should have knowledge of Computer applications.

Salary for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OPSC recruitment 2023, the selected candidate for the above-mentioned post will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 56100 in Level-12, Cell-1 of the pay matrix under ORSP rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the government from time to time.

2. The maximum age limit is 38 years.

Selection Procedure for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, computer skill test and viva-voce test/interview. The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Skill Test in Computer and candidates who qualify in the Skill Test will be called for viva-voca test/interview.

The written examination will be of Objective type/Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern and will carry 150 marks with a duration of 03 hours. The test will be held at Cuttack. The details regarding the test will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates.
