Eligibility Details for OSSC Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates Applicant for the Opted/Applied Posts should fulfill the Eligibility Conditions including Upper Age Limits, Educational Qualification explained hereunder:

Upper Age Limits (As on 01.01.2022)

The Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Minimum 21 Years Maximum 38 Years

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as per the Government of India Rules (Also mentioned in the OSSC Recruitment 2023 Notification for a CBRT/an OMR-Based.

Educational Qualifications and Others:

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be Deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956 or such Qualification as may be declared Equivalent by the Government.

Desired: Proficiency in Computer Operations including Computer Operations, MS Word, Internet, Email, Word Process, Data Analysis and Presentation.

The Candidate must

i) be able to read, write and speak Odia Dialect and

ii) have passed Middle School with Odia as a Language Subject or

iii) have passed High School Certificate (Matriculate) Examination with Odia as a Medium of Examination in Non-Language Subject or

iv) have passed in Odia as a Language Subject in the Final Examination of Class VII from any School or Education Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha

v) have passed a Test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department (SMED).

Recruitment Methodology for OSSC 2023:

Selection to the Accountant Posts notified vide OSSC Recruitment 2023 consists of 03 Stages; viz.,

• Stage I: Preliminary Examination;
• Stage II: Mathematics
• Stage III: Certificate Verification

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission shall carry out the Selection Process through 03 Stages,

• Stage 1: Objective-Type Preliminary Examination in Computer-Based Recruitment Test/OMR-Based
• Stage 2: Mathematics Test and the Computer Skill Test (CKT) in Computer-Based Test/OMR-Based Format;
• Stage 3: Certificate Verification.

Selection Process for OSSC Recruitment 2023:

The Odisha SSC shall host on the Appropriate Date (due to be notified soon) Preliminary Examination followed by the Mathematics Test and Computer Skill Test for Recruitment to the Accountant Posts.

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission shall carry through the Selection Process for selection on Accountant Posts. The OSSC Recruitment 2023 consists of 03 Stages as follows:

Stage 1: Objective-Type Preliminary Examination;

Stage 2: Objective-Type Mathematics Examination

Stage 3: Certificate Verification notified vide the OSSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

The Final Selection for Accountant Posts shall be based on the OSSC Recruitment Examination 2023 shall be conducted by way of Merit to be determined by taking into account the Candidates’ Marks obtained in the Mathematics Examination. Such Candidates would be subjected to Certificate Verification.
