Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the posts of Inspector of Legal Metrology, Junior Chemist, Senior Laboratory Assistant, Statistical Assistant, Market Intelligence Inspector and Computer Programmer. There are 83 vacant seats for the indicated posts.

Age Limit for OSSC Recruitment 2023:

The minimum and maximum age limit for OSSC Recruitment 2023 is given below-

• Candidates should not be less than 21 years.
• Candidates should not be more than 38 years.

Qualification for OSSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below Qualification for OSSC Recruitment 2023.

For Inspector of Legal Metrology-

• Candidate must have done Graduation in Science (with Physics as one of the subject) or Technology  Engineering from a recognized University or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institution with three years of Professional Experience.

For Junior Chemist-

• Candidate must have done Graduation in Chemistry with adeast second class from any recognized University or equivalent Degree, Diploma or Certificate from any recognized Institution.

For Senior Laboratory Assistant-

• Candidate must have Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma).

For Statistical Assistant-

• Candidate must have done Graduation in Arts/ Science Commerce with Honours in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Application Physics Economics/ Applied Economics/ Agriculture Economics Econometrics or having a degree in Commerce with distinction.

For Statistical Assistant-

• Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree (At least Second Class) with Suristics Applied Economics Mathematics Anthopology Tribal sudies Sociology with statistics as one of the subjects and knowledge of Computer Application.

For Market Intelligence Inspector-

• Candidate must have Graduation Degree with at least 40% marks in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent qualification from any Institution recognized by Govt. and having anyone of the subjects namely Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics Commerce/ Accounting in graduation level and must have adequate knowledge in Computer Application like MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.

For Computer Programmer-

• Candidate must have done Graduation in Arts Science/Commerce or equivalent degree with PGDCA.
