PHL Recruitment 2023: Pawan Hans Limited is a premier Central Public Sector Enterprise and India’s largest Helicopter Company under the administrative control of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. The Company requires result-oriented and dynamic professionals on a contract basis for the various vacancies for the Post of Helicopter Pilots, Associate Helicopter Pilots, and Fresh Helicopter Pilots.
The candidates willing to apply will have to apply on the official website and the candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 295. The details regarding the age limit, qualifications, how to apply, etc have been discussed below in detail. As per the PHL Recruitment 2023 advertisement, the last date for receipt of the application will be 31st January 2023.
Applications are invited for the Posts of Helicopter Pilots, Associate Helicopter Pilots, and Fresh Helicopter Pilots.
The age of the candidate shall be below 30 years. The eligibility criteria for determination of age, experience, etc will be calculated as on the last date for receipt of application i.e. 31st January 2023.
For the Role of Helicopter Pilots:
Helicopter Pilots holding CHPL / ATPL (H) with endorsement on PHL type of helicopter (Dauphin-N, Dauphine-N3, Mi-172, AS-350B3, Bell-407 & Bell-206L4) and cleared for PIC with 3000 hours of helicopter flying
For the Position of Helicopter Pilots:
Helicopter Pilots holding CHPL / ATPL (H) with endorsement on Dauphin-N, Dauphin-N3, Mi-172, AS-350B3, Bell-206 & Bell-407 helicopters. Preference will be given to Examiners & Instructors.
Desirous qualified / licensed SPO Qualified Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid licenses with endorsement on AS-350B3, Bell-206 & Bell-407 helicopters may also apply.
Desirous qualified / licensed Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid licenses with endorsement on Sikorsky S-76D & S-76C++ helicopters may also apply.
The appointment of Expat pilots will, however, be subject to the approval of the Competent Authority as per the Government of India / DGCA Rules.
For the Post of Fresh Helicopter Pilots:
Fresh / Young Pilots will be paid a monthly Stipend of Rs. 15,000 during MCF Training till the period of DGCA endorsement for flying PHL helicopters on their license.
On successful endorsement on the type of their license and completion of conversion flying, the Fresh/Young Pilots may be considered for appointment as Jr. Helicopter Pilot on a contract basis equivalent to E-0 grade at fixed monthly emoluments of Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees one lakh only).
The selected candidates will be appointed on a short-term/ long-term contract basis up to 3 years extendable further on the needs of the organization.
Candidates are required to pay an applications fee through Demand Draft (towards application fee – non-refundable) for Rs. 295 (Rupees two hundred and ninety-five only) inclusive of GST at 18% drawn in favor of Pawan Hans Limited payable at DELHI/NOIDA (SC/ST candidates & Persons with Disabilities are exempted from payment of application fee).
Eligible candidates meeting the required qualification may apply by visiting the careers tab on the Company’s website and should apply online only. The applicants should also send the duly filled & signed printout of the online application form along with the required documents.
Eligible candidates meeting the requirement who are not able to apply online may download Application Blank Form on the website and send the scanned copy of the duly filled & signed application form after affixing a recent passport-size photograph accompanied by copies of self-attested testimonials in support of age, caste/class, qualification, experience, Pay/CTC, license/medical status, etc.
