According to the addendum, interested candidates can now apply within 15 days from the date of issue of the addendum. The extension has been granted to give more time for interested applicants to submit their applications. However, those who have already submitted their applications need not apply again. As per Prashar Bharti Recruitment 2023 official notification, Prasar Bharati Doordarshan News is looking for dynamic and experienced candidates for the position of Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade II on a full-time contract basis. The position is based at RNU, DDK Shimla, and there are three positions available. Applicants must have a degree from a recognized university/institute, a degree/PG diploma in Journalism, a camera-friendly face with a voice suitable for the telecast, and excellent pronunciation and modulation. They should also have at least five years of experience in the relevant field, proficiency in Hindi, and knowledge of current affairs. They should also have knowledge of current affairs/ regional/ national/ foreign affairs and the ability to interview people who matter in news. Proficiency in Hindi is a must, and they should have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field. Experience in handling Web & Digital platforms is desirable.
As per Prashar Bharti Recruitment 2023 official notification, the terms and conditions for engagement are purely contractual, and the person engaged shall have no claim either implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization in Prasar Bharati. They will be engaged on a full-time basis and will not be allowed to take up any other assignment during the period of contractual engagement. Persons engaged on a contract basis can be assigned for Hindi bulletins as well as additional tasks apart from the specific tasks for which they are engaged. The engagement can be discontinued or terminated with one-month notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof by either side without assigning any reason. No claim of pensionary benefit on account of this contractual engagement shall be admissible.
