RailTel Recruitment 2023: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RCIL), Indian Railway, Ministry of Railways New Delhi has invited Applications through Proper Channel from Experienced Officers for Appointments on 02 Posts General Manager/Group General Manager/Executive Director (GM/GGM/ED) on Deputation/Absorption Basis with Posting in Corporate Office, New Delhi and Kolkata vide the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 18.04.2023. According to the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there is 02 Vacancies to be filled up with Parent Grade Pay Plus Deputation Allowance (PP Plus DA) and DPE Scales Plus Allowances. Based on the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Eligible and Desirous Officers may apply within 21 Days from issuance of this RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 18.04.2023. As may be read in the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement the Officials post Selection on GM/GGM/ED Posts shall be engaged for 03 Years till RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. remains Exempted from the Rule of Immediate Absorption, whichever being Earlier in Deputation and in case of Absorption till the Superannuation Age.
According to the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Willing and Eligible Officers should apply through Proper Channel in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma by completing the Application Submission Process within 30 Days from issuance of the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement. The Cadre Controlling Authority in the Zonal Railways should forward duly completed Applications of the Eligible Candidates with Desire in the Prescribed Specimen Application Proforma.
Based on the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the notified 02 Posts General Manager/ Group General Manager/Executive Director shall be filled up for 03 Years:

Posting Situation: Corporate Office, New Delhi and Kolkata
As has been notified in the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Appropriately Suitable Officers selected for General Manager/Group General Manager/Executive Director Posts shall be entitled to Monthly Salaries as explained hereunder:
Monthly Pay Scales:
i) Parent Grade Pay (PGP) Plus Deputation Allowance (On Deputation) As per Rules.
ii) Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) Scales Plus Allowances of the Level of Selection (On Absorption)
As per the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Maximum/Upper Age Limits for the Candidates as on the Closing 21st Date of the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement/Vacancy Notice, as has been prescribed therein, shall remain.
Age Limits:
I) Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) Officer should not exceed 58 Years on the Closing Date of the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement; And
II) Below Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) should not exceed 56 Years on the Closing Date of the Receipt of the Application.
As has been explained in the RailTel Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Eligibility Essential for the General Manager/Group General Manager/Executive Director Posts should be as explained hereunder:
Minimum Eligibility:
Service: Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE)/Internal Telegraph Signal/System (ITS)/Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE)
A) General Manager (E-8) Level in IDA Scale: Senior Administrative Grade Officer (Level 14)/CDA/Senior Grade (SG) Officer (Level 13) with 18 Years Or Working in Grade ‘A’ Service or Working in IDA Scale Rs.120000-280000 (E-8).
B) Group General Manager/Executive Director (E8/E-9) Level in IDA Scale: Non-Functional Higher Administrative Grade (NFHAG) Officer (Level 15)/CDA; Or 05 Years in Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) Officer (Level 14) (CDA) Or Working in IDA Scale Rs.150000-300000 (E-9);
Desirable: Working Experience as Signal and Telecom Engineers/Previous Experience in RailTel Corporation of India Limited.
Selection on both Posts General Manager/Group General Manager/Executive Director to be carried through by Deputation/Absorption involves a Viva-voce.
Post-Selection, the Officers shall be issued Appointments for General Manager/Group General Manager/ Executive Director Posts for 03 Years. The Incumbent shall function under the Service; i.e., Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE)/Internal Telegraph Signal/System (ITS)/Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE).
