Qualification for REC Recruitment 2023: 

In accordance with the official notification of REC Recruitment 2023, applicants must have the following academic qualifications that must be approved by the recognised institutions.

For Advisor(Finance)-

• FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

For Sr. Consultant (Project Co-ordination and Management)-

• The applicants must have a degree in B.E or B.Tech. (Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering) or equivalent qualification. 

For Sr.Consultant (Civil)-(Transmission)-

• The candidate should have a degree of B.E or B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. 

For Sr. Consultant (Electrical)-

• The candidate should have a degree of BE/ B. Tech (Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Experience for REC Recruitment 2023: 

Referring to the official notification of REC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s required experiences are mentioned below:

For Advisor(Finance)-

• The candidate should be officially retired from the Central Govt., State Govt., CPSU, State PSU, or autonomous body in the cadre of not being below the rank of Executive Director (E9) or Director of CPSE with not less than 30 years of experience.

For Sr. Consultant (Project Co-ordination and Management)-

• The candidate must have a proven track record in carrying out the engineering and design of transmission lines and substations with respect to civil engineering aspects. The applicant must have expertise in finalizing the design and drawings of Transmission line Tower Foundations, equipment foundations, and various buildings building designs and drawings with not less than 20 years of experience in the power transmission sector.

For Sr.Consultant (Civil)-(Transmission)-

• The candidate must have a proven track record in carrying out the engineering and design of transmission lines and substations with respect to civil engineering aspects. The applicant must have expertise in finalizing the design and drawings of transmission line tower foundations, equipment foundations, and various building designs and drawings, with not less than 20 years of experience in the power transmission sector.

For Sr. Consultant (Electrical)-

• The candidate must have suitable experience in the power transmission sector in the area of engineering and design of transmission lines and substations with respect to Electrical Engineering aspects. He must have expertise in the area of electrical design of AIS and GIS substations for voltage class 220 kV & above. The applicant must have in-depth knowledge of electrical equipment in terms of specification, design & drawing review with not less than 20 Years of experience in the Power Transmission sector.

Age Limitation for REC Recruitment 2023: 

As informed in the official notification of REC Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for candidates will be up to 68 years as on 21-11-2023.

Salary for REC Recruitment 2023: 

Based on the official notification of REC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of upto Rs.200000.

For Advisor(Finance)-

• The applicants should be retired officially from Central Govt./State Govt./CPSU/ State PSU/ Autonomous body in the cadre not below the rank of E-9 level or equivalent.

For Sr. Consultant (Project Co-ordination And Management)-

• The applicants should be a retired official from Central Govt./ State Govt./ CPSUs/state PSU/ Autonomous Body or any other equivalent organization from the rank not below E8 level or Equivalent.

For Sr. Consultant (Electrical)- (Transmission)-

• The applicants should be a retired official from Central Govt./ State Govt./ CPSUs/state PSU/ Autonomous Body or any other equivalent organization from the rank not below E8 level or Equivalent.

Training Period for REC Recruitment 2023: 

According to the official notification of REC Recruitment 2023, the engagement is offered on a contractual basis for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirements.
