RITES Recruitment 2024: RITES Limited is currently seeking suitable and skilled candidates for the positions of General Manager, Additional General Manager and Joint General Manager on a contract basis. The applicant’s upper age limit for the given post should be 55 years under the RITES Recruitment 2024. The duration of engagement will be purely on a contract basis initially for a period of 01 year, extendable until completion of the assignment subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance.
There are 05 seats available for the aforementioned post applied to the RITES Recruitment 2024. The selected applicants for the mentioned positions will be paid a monthly salary up to Rs.260000. For General Manager (Civil/ Ports)-
The applicants must have post-graduation in Port Planning/ Ocean Engineering/ Marine Structures/ Civil Engineering with Marine structures/ Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering or its related field.
For General Manager (Mechanical/ Ports)-
The candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical/ Production/ Production and Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Railways/ Mechatronics and Automobile or any of the above combinations in part or whole or its related field.
For Additional General Manager – Marine Structural Engineering-
The applicants must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its related field AND post-graduation in Ocean Structures/ Offshore structures or its related field.
For Additional General Manager – IWT sector Expert-
The candidates should have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or its related field OR Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering or its related field.
For Joint General Manager- Material Handling-
The applicants must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology in Mechanical/ Production/ Production and Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Railways/ Mechatronics and Automobile or any of the above combination in part or whole or its related field.
Experience for RITES Recruitment 2024:
Based on the official notification of RITES Recruitment 2024, the candidate’s required experiences are given below: For General Manager (Civil/ Ports)-
The applicants must have a minimum of 17 years of experience in the field of Port Planning/ Development/ Port upgrade and modernizing projects/ Breakwaters/ Wharf/ Berthing jetty/ Dredging and reclamation.
For General Manager (Mechanical/ Ports)-
The candidates should have a minimum of 17 years of experience in the field of Port Planning/ project preparation and design and management of port-based procurement and installation of port equipment for material/ cargo/ container handling and construction. Experience in Quality assurance of port equipment and safety-related aspects will be preferred.
For Additional General Manager – Marine Structural Engineering-
The applicants must have a minimum of 14 years of experience in the field of Port Planning/ design of Breakwaters/ Wharf/ Berthing jetties/ Ro-Ro jetties/ Slipway / Offshore platforms etc.
For Additional General Manager – IWT sector Expert-
The candidates should have an overall experience of 14 years out of which a minimum of 10 years experience in Ports and Harbour/ IWT Terminal planning/ IWT Infrastructure planning and development of physical activities for operation.
For Joint General Manager- Material Handling-
The applicants must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in the field of port-based procurement and installation of port equipment for material/ cargo/ container handling and construction. Experience in Quality assurance of port equipment and safety-related aspects will be preferred.
