Essential Qualifications:

A) Educational: I) Master’s Degree /Post Graduate in the Relevant Subject including Relevant Basic Sciences with Minimum 55%/Equivalent Grade Point.

II) The National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SLET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) not Mandatory for Post-Graduate Qualification

Evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ICAR, ASRB, UGC and CSIR respectively. (Or)

Ph.D. (Philosophiae Doctor) in the Relevant Subject with Published Research Papers in Scientific Journals.

B) Working Knowledge of Hindi Written in Devnagari Script and Knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

SLET (State Level Eligibility Test)/SET (State Eligibility Test) Qualified before 01.06.2023 from any State.

Selection Procedure under RPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Procedure for Assistant Professor Post, in accordance with the Assistant Professors under the Rajasthan Educational Service (Collegiate Branch) Rules 1986, comprises 02 Stages aimed to drawing up the Final Merit List, as follows:

I) Objective-Type Written Examination (03 Papers): Total 200 Marks

II) Viva-voce/Interview: 24 Marks

Final Selection on the Assistant Professor Posts in 48 Faculty under Rajasthan College Education Department shall be carried through on the Final Selection in the order of a Common Merit List.
