RRB Recruitment 2023: The Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway, Jaipur has released the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) notification for the year 2023. The notification is for filling up vacancies against the GDCE quota as per the Railway Board’s instructions. Only serving regular railway employees of North Western Railway excluding RPF/RPSF employees fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for the vacancies. The recruitment process for the post of Asstt. Loco Pilot. As per RRB Recruitment 2023 official notification, there is a total of 238 vacancies available. The community-wise breakup, medical category, and the required educational qualification of vacancies for the post of Asstt. Loco Pilot is mentioned in the notification.
As per RRB Recruitment 2023 official notification, the online application process for the GDCE will be open from April 7, 2023, and will close on May 6, 2023. The recruitment process for the post of Asstt. Loco Pilot shall comprise a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written examination, followed by an aptitude test, document verification, and a medical examination. The candidates impaneled in GDCE for the post of Asstt. Loco Pilot will have to pass the requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post.
The selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere on North Western Railway. The decision of the Railway Recruitment Cell, Jaipur, in the matter of selection will be final. The notification may be downloaded from the official websites of RRC Jaipur and NWR Indian Railways. The number of vacancies shown in the notification is provisional, and the same may increase or decrease depending upon the actual needs of the administration at the time of appointment. The Railway Administration reserves the right to alter the mode of examinations or re-conduct CBT/written examination or to cancel part or whole of any process of recruitment at any stage.

B) Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobiles Engineering in lieu of ITI. Candidates with combinations of various streams of trades of Engineering prescribed as above are to be considered for employment on the Railways in terms of the Board’s instructions contained in RBE no 162/2001 dated 20/08/2001 subject to the provisions contained in Board’s letter No. E(NG)II/2005/RR-1/8 dated 28/08/2014 and 30/09/2015.
