Essential Qualifications for RRC Recruitment 2023:

As informed in the official notification of RRC Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications are mentioned below:
For Level-01-

• The applicants should have passed the 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not required in the case of SC / ST / Ex-servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWBD) candidates and for the candidates of any category possessing higher qualifications i.e. Graduate, Post Graduate from a recognised University.

For Level- 02-

• The applicants must have 10th passed OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR
• The applicants must have 10th passed plus ITI OR 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering / Mechanical/ Electrical / Signal and Telecom Departments).

Scouting and Guiding Qualifications for RRC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of RRC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s qualifications are listed below:

• A President Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section;
• The applicants should have been active members of a Scouts Organization for the last 5 (Five) years i.e. 2018-19 onwards. The “Certificate of Activeness” should be as per Annexure ‘A’ enclosed, and
• The candidates should have attended two events at the National Level OR All Indian Railway level AND Two events at the State level.

Remuneration for RRC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of RRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate salaries are given below:

For Level-01-

• The chosen applicants will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.19900 – Rs.63200.

For Level- 02-

• The chosen applicants will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.18000 – Rs.56900.

Mode of Selection for RRC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of RRC Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s selection will be based on a Written Test and Document Verification followed by an Assessment of Marks for Certificates. Candidates recommended for appointment will have to undergo a Medical Examination and should be found fit and should have requisite Medical Fitness as per the Medical Classification prescribed for the post selected.
