To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed a BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates who have an M. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university will be given preference.
Candidates must also have at least five years of work experience in the relevant field as mentioned in the job description. The desired experience for the position includes experience in any Government/Semi Govt./Autonomous/PSU as per JD. Candidates who have experience in these organizations will be preferred for the position.

The requirement can be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Sports Authority of India. The consultant is responsible for ensuring that the work is executed as per the design given by the Structural Engineer and Architectural Drawing issued by the project Architect, and the schedule of work of the contract agreement. The Junior Consultant is also responsible for ensuring that the quality of the work executed is in accordance with the CPWD specifications and CPWD Manual with up-to-date correction slips.
As per SAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the criteria for shortlisting candidates for the interview for the position of Jr. Consultant (Infra.) are as follows:
Essential Qualification: Candidates who have obtained 60% or more marks in their essential qualification of BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university will be awarded 30 marks, those who have obtained between 50% to 60% will be awarded 20 marks, those who have obtained between 45% to 50% will be awarded 10 marks, and those who have obtained less than 45% will be awarded 0 marks.
Work Experience: Candidates who have work experience of greater than 7 years in a relevant field as mentioned in the JD will be awarded 35 marks, those who have work experience of 6-7 years will be awarded 25 marks, and those who have work experience of 5-6 years will be awarded 15 marks.
Work Experience in Sports Sector: Candidates who have work experience of greater than 5 years in the sports sector will be awarded 25 marks, those who have work experience of 4-5 years will be awarded 15 marks, and those who have work experience of 3-4 years will be awarded 5 marks.
Experience in any Government/Semi Govt./Autonomous/PSU in relevant field as mentioned in the JD: Candidates who have work experience of greater than 2 years in the government/semi govt./Autonomous/PSU sector in relevant field as mentioned in the JD will be awarded 10 marks, those who have work experience of 1-2 years will be awarded 5 marks.
Candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5 based on the total marks obtained from the above criteria, with necessary documents attached along with the application. Candidates who are working in the sports sector and/or government sector as specified in point 4 will be eligible for weightage in points 2, 3, and 4 depending on the number of years of experience.
