According to the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, there are 10 vacancies open for the post of Doctors as General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) and Specialists for Bokaro General Hospital (BGH).

Age Limit for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates should not exceed the age of 69 years for applying to SAIL Recruitment 2023. According to this Scheme, a person cannot be hired beyond the age of 70. To carry out their duties, the doctors to be hired need, nevertheless, be medically qualified.

Qualification for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

To Apply for SAIL Recruitment 2023, the required qualification is given below-

For GDMO-

• The applicant must have an MBBS degree from a University/ Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India/National Board of Examination/National Medical Commission or State Medical Commission and have a valid practitioner license and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable).

For Specialists (For BGH, B S City)-

• The applicant must have an MBBS degree with a PG Diploma from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NBE/NMC or SMC and have a valid practitioner license in the respective specialty and enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable).
• The applicant must have an MBBS with MS/DNB from a University/ Institute recognized by MCI/NBE/NMC or SMC and have a valid practitioner license in the respective specialty and enrolled in the State Register or National Register (as applicable).

Salary for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023 the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary up to Rs.160000.

Tenure for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

The appointment is made on a contract basis and the chosen candidates for SAIL Recruitment 2023 will be engaged for a period of 01 year or till attaining the age of 70 years whichever is earlier, which can be extended for a period of 01 year at the discretion of the Company. The maximum period of engagement under the same contract would not be more than 3 years.

Selection Process for SAIL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of SAIL Recruitment 2023, the selection will be determined on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the walk-in interview. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the ‘Walk-in-Interview’ / selection process.
